The poker site PartyPoker continues to go hard against bots and fraudulent activity at its poker room. In this new blow they closed 48 accounts and seized about 180 000 euro in total. Earlier this year PartyPoker also banned huds and tracking software in another attempt to get rid of the people that try cheat, and in the long run, risking to destroy online poker.
The latest crackdown brings total account closures resulting from fraudulent activity to 649 since December 2018, with a subsequent $1,174,758 and €164,878 forfeited and redistributed to affected players, according to PartyPoker.
“Partypoker continues to encourage all players to continue to report all suspicious activity at its tables, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. The company promises to investigate all incidents that are reported”, they state in a press release.
